b. 1684, in Merionethshire, Wales, s. Thomas and Ann Evans. 1698, came to Gwynedd, Pa., with his parents, when he was about 14 years old.
m., 1713, Elizabeth Musgrave. Children.
Minister, a grave and solid Friend. Travelled with his relation, John Evans, through most of the American colonies but especially in the adjacent counties of Pa., where new meetings had been established.
Was a ttacked with his last illness while travelling on Truths account.
d. 24 July 1747, bur. at Gwynedd, Pa., aged ca. 63.
