Biographical / Historical

Frankford Monthly Meeting was established by Abington Quarterly Meeting out of Abington Monthly Meeting in 1816.

The Hicksite branch of this monthly meeting was discontinued in 1827; its members were attached to Green Street Monthly Meeting.

Frankford Monthly Meeting (Orthodox) was the forerunner of the current Frankford Monthly Meeting. This meeting was transferred to Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting in 1955. Unity Monthly Meeting (Frankford) is distinct.
