William Evans (d. ca. 1728) was a land owner and Quaker elder from Evesham, New Jersey.
William Evans was born in Rancocas, New Jersey to William and Jean (or Jane) (Hodges) Evans. In 1687, he moved to Evesham (Mt. Laurel), New Jersey. He aquired 300 acres at Mt. Tray and married Elizabeth Hanks (or Hanke), a minister of Darby, Pennsylvania. They had three children. Evans died around December of 1728 in Evesham.
