s. William and Jean (or Jane) (Hodges) Evans.
1687, removed from Rancocas, N. J., to Evesham (Mt. Laurel) N. J. Had 300 acres at Mt. Tray.
m. Elizabeth Hanks or Hanke of Darby, Pa., a minister. Children: Thomas, John and Jean.
Elder.
He is said to have had a dug-out in the Mount, as hisfirst dwelling.
