Robert Evans (1657 - March, 1738) was a Welsh-American convinced Friend, minister and early settler of Gwynedd Pennsylvania.

Biography
Robert Evans, son of Evan ap Evan, was born in Llandderfel, Merionetshire, Wales in 1657. Originally a member of the Church of England, Evans attended Friends meetings in Wales and became a convinced Friend after settling in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania in 1698. He later became a Quaker minister. He died in Gwynnedd in March of 1738. His funeral was attended by Thomas Chalkley.
