b. 1765, dau. David and Mary (Trotter) Bacon. Was a sister of Elizabeth Bacon, whom Thomas Scattergood married.

1816, visited N.Y. Yearly Meeting, with her son William Evans, and Sarah Wilson. At Jericho, the women stayed the home of Elias Hicks, with whom H. E. laboured to dissuade him from the course he was pursuing.
Bright and cheerful in disposition.
d. 27 Feb. 1829, Phila., Pa., aged 64.
